怖くて読めない，というレビューもあるようですが，何故か私は心温まります．「人間としての分をわきまえる」姿勢に感銘を受けます．妖怪を，敵対するものでなく，（祖父の教えに従って）共存するものとして受け入れる生き方をする主人公は，単なる臆病ではなく思慮深いものだと思います．何にでも興味を示し首を突っ込むのではなく，踏み込んではいけない領域があることを認識して生きていく姿勢は，自分の平凡な日常生活にも応用できるところがあるなぁ~と，妙に納得します．

ＮＨＫＢＳのマンガ夜話で紹介されていて、どうしても読みたくなって購入しました。
どっぷりはまって届いたその日に明け方までかかって読破してしまったほど。でも夜中に読むのはかなり怖かった・・・

１話１話がとても充実した内容でじっくり読ませます。
心底震えるような怖さもあれば、人間の、時には妖怪の切ない情愛も描かれていたり・・・

でも笑いもちりばめられていて。
尾黒と尾白ならそばにいてもいいかな~なんて普通に考えてしまうほどこの本の世界はすんなりと現実味をおびています。
（実際に律みたいな人が近くにいたら怖いだろうけど）

次の巻が本当に待ち遠しい作品です。ぜひ読んでみてください！

表紙のカラーイラストは結構華麗な感じで、 いかにも少女漫画的な第一印象だったのですが、 実際の絵柄は、綺麗だけどどことなく影のある感じで、 話の内容に良くあっていると思います。 ホラーといえばホラーなんでしょうが、 登場する妖怪たちもどこか人間くさくて （というよりも人間のほうが恐い） ところどころ笑わせながら、時おりホロリともさせる。 うまいです。はまってます。
