足かけ２０年近く（ちょっと加算）続いたＳＦ小説「ARIEL」のネタバレを含んだ解説書。
しかし、笹本先生のことです。ただの解説本にはなりません！
今回のために書き下ろしたオリジナルも載ってます！
ラジオドラマが復刻されてます！
これを読めば、２０年近い軌跡が思い起こせること間違いなし！

...が故に、作品を読んだことがない方にはお勧めできません。
（そういう方は、全部読んでみることをお勧めします。量あるけど。）
作品をきちんと読んだ方が見ると、ものすごく面白い一冊です。

ファンなら最後まできちっと追いかけてこそ華！（意味不明？）

ARIELを知らない人が、この本を買うことはないと思われるので、ARIELシリーズについての説明は省略。
目次とその内容を書きます。

文庫未掲載だった「イドの中の怪物」を読むことができてうれしい限りです。
カセットの中で唯一持っていなかった「野良無人戦艦の恐怖」もついてついにコンプリート完成。
どちらも楽しめました。

本来なら星５つにするところですが、
値段が文庫の３倍以上。エリアルを知らない人には全く勧められない。
点から、星３つにしました。

本書内で本編内のバグが指摘されていますが、この本自体にもバグ
（研究所員Cの登場がたった一度だけ。
ほ番の発射台はひとつしか存在しない。など）
があります。
細かな記述については作者より読者の方が詳しくなってしまうってことですね。

最後に一言、「こんちこれまた　えりある」は今回も素晴らしい。

贅沢を言わせて頂けるのなら、今までのカセット文庫を
全部網羅していただきたかった。
アニメと比べるとキャラの性格、言動が微妙に異なるのでそれはそれで
面白い。
一部、最新刊と内容がかぶっていたのは残念。
とりあえず、ハウザーとシモーヌの仲は進展するのか、が今度
の楽しみ？
