この写真集を見て、なんだか不思議な気分になりました。
自分が動物たちを見ているのではなく、逆に見られている感じ？！
写真だけれど、「皆、生きているなぁ･･･」と実感させられます。
動物たちの呼吸とか体温とかが写真を通して伝わってくるのです。
動物たちが今にも話しかけてきそうな表情なのです。
あと、最後の写真に対する「ミニ解説」もなかなか。
何故この写真が入っているの？、の意味が分かります。
ＤＶＤも必見！
音楽と映像がとても合っていて、見入ってしまいました。
（特にファミリー向けの画像が楽しくてオススメです）
ペンギンとかアザラシの印象が変わります。
（シロクマは逆に人間っぽい（笑））
「動物ってすごい！」と改めて思いました。
~おまけ~
本のカバーを取ると寂しい本が多いですが、この本は違います。
カバーがなくても大丈夫♪

写真の一枚一枚に動物たちの表情がナチュラルに写しだされていて、旭山動物園の空気がよく伝わって来る気がします。冬に撮影されたようで、雪景色の中にアフリカの動物がたたずんでいたりするのも、「日本最北」にある旭山らしい風景と言えるかも。お客さんが通常立ち入れない舞台裏での写真もあって、特にライオンやカバの寝室での写真は静かな迫力がありました。

ＤＶＤはアザラシとペンギンがメイン。それぞれに「For Kids」、「For Couples」（静かでムーディーな映像ということ？）、アングルが固定された「Fixed view」の３バージョンが用意されていて、結構しっかりしたつくりです。

ただ、ＤＶＤの中で意外に良かったのが、おまけコンテンツ（※隠しコンテンツみたいになっていて、ちょっと気付きにくい）の、ホッキョクグマのムービー。2頭がえんえんお昼寝してるだけなのですが、時々ふと見せる動きが絶妙にカワイイ！　何度見ても飽きません。なごみます。

旭山動物園に行ったばかりだったので興味を惹かれてこの写真集を買いましたが、ＤＶＤも充実していてお得感がありました。装丁もかわいい感じなので、動物好きな方だけでなく小さなお子さんのいらっしゃる方にも良いのではないでしょうか。

先日遊びに行ったばかりなのですが、旅の思い出にと買ってしまいました。
動物の生態を活き活きと見せてくれる旭山動物園ですが、この写真集でもその活き活きぶりは健在です！
動物園でやさしい飼育係さんたちに囲まれて安らかに暮らす彼らは幸せなんだろうなと再度実感いたしました。
