シグルイ8巻の横に置いてあったので買ってみました。シグルイで山口ワールドにはまり、覚悟のススメはいつか読みたいと思っていました。
ジャンプ全盛期のような「漢」っぷり！！これから毎月発刊ということで、楽しみです。
巻末の「作者チャンピオン連載時の巻末コメント全集」。熱すぎます！！そしてたまに笑ってしまいます。その漢な名言っぷりは車田正美なみです。←仕事や勉学に疲れているあなた！必見です。こんな悩みなんてちっぽけと思えるはず。

この作品を出会った時、私はとても精神的に苦しい時で、何もかもがうまくいかない状況に希望を失いかけていた時でした。

そんな時、この作品を読みました。

夢中で読み進めそして最終巻、私はあの漢字四文字の見開きで、本当に後ろに倒れました。漫画に飛ばされたのです。

覚悟が私を殺してくれた。「生まれ変われ！！」と。

漫画を読んで声を上げて泣いたのはこれが唯一です。

今の私がいるのもこの漫画のおかげだと言っても過言ではありません。

山口先生、生きる希望をありがとう。

人間はこんなにも熱いんだ！！

　「シグルイ」では完全に排除されている、コミカルな山口絵がところどころに見られます。それでもやはり、テーマは熱い漢のお話。山口貴由が「覚悟のススメ」で込めたメッセージが、「シグルイ」の中でも変わらずに在り続けることを、実感させられます。
　そして、他のレビュアーさんも書いてらっしゃるように、本誌掲載時の巻末コメント集「山口貴由　珠玉目次語録」が、本編に負けるとも劣らぬ熱さを見せてくれます。普通なら、作者の近況報告や日常の雑記などが書かれる欄ですが…。もはや少年達への檄文と化しています。
　「目指すところがわからなくても、走り続けよう。倒れたところが、目指すところだ！」等等。
　なんだか知らんが、とにかく良し！
　この珠玉目次語録のために買うのもありかと思います。
