「侵略！イカ娘」の2巻。前の巻は局地的に人気を博したようで何より。

先日、この漫画はチャンピオンの表紙になっていた。
チャンピオンに限らず、週刊少年漫画誌でショートギャグ漫画が表紙になることは
滅多に無いので、いろいろな意味で快挙といっていいと思う。この調子でジワジワ広まって欲しい。

さて、この2巻は1巻以上にバラエティに富んだ内容になっていて、
イカ娘が中学校や小学校にいったり、イカ娘を実験しようとする研究者が出てきたり、
またイカ娘が夏休みの観察日記の題材にされたりと、やりたい放題＆やられたい放題。
　イカ娘は基本的に自由な存在なので、夏という限られた時期の話ではあるが
その割にはいろいろな方向性の話を作られているなあ、と。
　ネームも非常に読みやすい。なんというかスッキリしている。

ただ漫画のレビューサイトで取り上げられることも多くなったが、反面
この漫画に過度な期待はするべきではない、とも思う（某漫画の宣伝文句じゃないけど）。
爆笑や即効的な笑いを求めて手を出すといまいちだと思うかもしれない。
　イカ娘、とはざっくり端的に表すと「和み」である。
日々の生活に疲れていたり、ゆったりとした気持ちになりたい人とかに勧めたい。
またはそういうのを求めてなくともそういう気持ちにさせられてしまう作品であると思う。
普段はドジだが時々異常な能力を発揮したり、または一生懸命頑張るイカ娘の雄姿。
イカ娘の行動を見てるだけで面白い。
私はこの漫画を読むと、和まざるを得ない。

1巻の時点でも十分好きな漫画だったが、この巻の内容でもっと好きになった。
サプリメント・コミックなんてキャッチフレーズが浮かんでしまった。

しかしイカ娘はやっぱり可愛いな。髪（触手）を切った姿も良かったが、
個人的には129ページ5コマ目の表情が特にツボだった。とっても純真な感じ。

さて、海を汚され、人間に復讐すべく立ち上がったものの、者の見事に「海の家の」バイトとして搾取され、労働に明け暮れる毎日が続きます。これだと、野望を達成するのは何時になるのだろうかと思ってしまうほど。そう言えばこういう野望を行おうとした「ショッ●ー」が幼稚園バスを襲ったりするのと五十歩百歩という感じです。然し、この作品は全く悲壮感がないのが受けます。語尾に「ゲソ」「イカ」などと言うベタな語尾が笑いをそそります。それにしても次の作戦を練るのと同時に「海の家」の住人から脱出しなければ。けど、めげないイカ娘には笑えます。

いいマンガです。
これぞまさにマンガ。
基本に立ち返ることの大切さを認識……って小難しいことはいわなくても、
とにかくおもしろい。馬鹿馬鹿しいけど癒やされる。
だけど話はキッチリまとめてある。日本の漫画の原点を今に伝える……いや、
難しいことをいう必要はないです。

みんなで買おう！
次はアニメ化だ！！
