「どろろ」の登場人物はすばらしい。手塚作品の中でも五本の指に入るであろうカッコよさの「百鬼丸」登場である。百鬼丸とどろろのコンビは最高だ。二人の過去をめぐる、手塚治虫らしい人間ドラマも切ない。

しかし、この大先生には読者としては少々困った悪癖がある。飽きっぽいのだ。この癖が本作には出てしまった。最後が少々尻切れトンボ的なのは仕方がない。しかし、凡百の作品に比べれば★4献上してもかまわないだろう。

水木しげるさんの「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」の影響を受けて描いた漫画だそうです。体の48箇所を魔物に奪われた百鬼丸が、魔物退治の旅を続ける怪奇マンガです。妖怪の怖さがにじみ出ている所が、面白さの秘訣の１つだと思います。作家の芥川龍之介の「羅生門」と少し似たところがあります。読みだしたら止まりません！主人公がカッコイイので、女性が読むと特にはまると思います！ぜひ読んでみてください☆

　映画で「どろろ」をみて、それがなんとなく物足りなく感じているところに本屋に行くと目立つところに文庫版が平積み。もう買うしかありません。原作で父親との葛藤や本物の身体を手に入れていくところをじっくり読みたかったのですがそのあたりは期待に反してあっさりしていたり知りきれトンボだったりします。
　面白いのは妖怪との対決。出てくる妖怪すべてが妖艶であったり物悲しかったりでただやっつければ気分スッキリというものではありません。それは、大なり小なり妖怪達に感情移入してしまっているからだと思います。水木しげるとはまた違った妖怪達にたくさん出会えて幸せな気分になりました。
