5.0 out of 5 stars 手塚治虫『Black Jack (1)』について, 2005/5/26
　今まで手塚治虫さんの作品は、『鉄腕アトム』と『リボンの騎士』のアニメ作品だけだったが、ストーリー漫画に触れたのはこれが最初です。週刊誌に連載されていたというのに、１話毎の読切りでしかも20頁という制限つき。その中で毎回重厚な感動作が生まれていったのです。特にピノコの生誕の話は素晴らしかった。腫瘍から人間へと作り上げる。そしてのちにブラック・ジャックは「ピノコわが娘」と呼ぶほど愛するようになるのです。ピノコも彼を永遠の恋人のように慕い続ける。この不思議な親子？関係がたまらなく素敵です。さすが巨匠手塚治虫さん！

手塚治虫「ブラックジャック」ハードカバー版の第1巻。

どの話にも教訓があり、一話ごとに立ち止まって考えさせられてしまいます。それでいて展開がはやく、一話完結なのでサクサク読める。「イソップ物語」を読むような感覚で楽しめます。

個人的にオススメなエピソードは「医者はどこだ!」。初回からあっと言わされます。

今読んでも古くないのが凄いです。
こんな話が毎週読めたなんて、凄かったんだなあと
あらためて、連載当時を思い出しました。
マンガの課題図書（なんてものがあれば）のひとつです。
