今回も考えさせられる内容が何箇所もありました。
そして毎回思うのですが、このシリーズは何度も読み直して、自分の中に偏見が無いのかを確認しないと、嫌な人間になりそうです。

子供って、チョッとでも変だと思うと容赦なく指摘しますよね。
小学校１年生になった華音ちゃんは、遠足の当日、クラスの男の子に光君(兄・自閉症)のことをバカにされて、喧嘩をしてしまいます。その時に教師が光君の事を理解しやすいようにと使った例えが「君がカメハメ波を出すのと同じくらい、難しいんだよ」でした。
他にも、姉が妹に昔のことを教えたために、華音ちゃんはお友達から外されるとか、つらい場面もありますが、そんな事にめげずに真っ直ぐに伸びようとする姿にチョット泣いてしまいました。

最後に、前巻で光君が女性の足に触る件がありますが、それが実話を基にしていることが今回のアトガキでわかります。

中学生活が安定している光君。
今回は「光ワールド」の各登場人物のそれぞれの人生の場面での悩みとそれを乗り越える様が描かれます。
おしゅうとめさんはどうやら展開のありそうな。。老後の生を
光君は思春期を迎えた一少年として
花音ちゃんは団体生活を送る学校での、うわさ、級友とのトラブル。
この世界で一番危なっかしい、ＤＶパパの家の子、エリちゃんは小学校の保健の先生となんと産婦人科でばったり。
幸子ママは「母として生きる」事の意味を。。
もうこの世界から目が離せませんね。次号はお引越しみたいです。
幸子ママ、がんばれ！花音ちゃんも光君もがんばれ！

光くんには妹花音ちゃんがいます。
花音ちゃんは小学一年生。
そんな花音ちゃんが、お母さんと光くんが散歩にでかけたときのこと。
花音ちゃんのお友達が光くんを見て「変だ！」と言いました。

小学一年生が自閉症を理解する、なんて難しいこと。
友達が見て、このように発言しても不思議ではありません。
障害のある兄弟姉妹をもつと、このようにつらい目にあうこともあるかもしれません。
そんなとき、この本を読んだ人が、ちょっとで理解してあげられるといいですね。

小学生にも分かるように手紙を書く母幸子。
クラスの子どもたちに手紙を書いて理解してもらおうと思っています。

少しでも多くの人が、本書を読んで少しだけ自閉症を理解してくれたら、
と思います。
