ふざけたタイトルだと思われるでしょうが、
本当に７巻目でようやく我が子と同じタイプの子供が
登場した場面では、思わず声が出たほどでした。
　
　友人や先生方にも「光とともに」を読んでもらっているのですが、
巻が進むにつれ、自閉症＝光君・美羽ちゃんのイメージが定着し、
実在の息子との共通点が少ないことで、同じ自閉症（スペクトラム）
だと理解してもらいにくいことが少なからず出てきていました。
（親の目からすれば、充分同じ特性を持ち、困難を抱えている子供
だということはわかるのですが）

なので、『高機能やアスペの子供が登場しないかなあ』、と
淡い願望を抱いていたのです。
　まだまだ登場回数は、少ない友也君ですが、同じ自閉症スペクトラム
として、今後の活躍？を期待しています。

レビューじゃなくて、これじゃあ感想文ですね(^^ゞ

　光君のお母さんが、
「明日のジョー」
のテーマで目をさまし。
　「たて、立つんだジョー」
とつぶやきながら家事をがんばったり、
「私どうしようもないバカ親です」
と落ち込んだり姿に、とっても共感しました。

「ひょっこりひょうたん島」
のテーマを歌いながら、前向きに暮らす光君のお父さん。
　それを気遣うお母さんと、元気に成長していく子ども達。

　この巻もとても楽しませてもらいました。

僕も、いわゆる「知的障碍児」といわれる子どもたちに出会い、
その大変さと同時にすばらしさに感動し、
人生が変わってしまったものの一人です。
もちろん自閉症がこれを読めばわかる！と言うものではないでしょう。
しかし、どんなことで苦労するのか、とか
何が助けになり、何が邪魔になるのか、とか
やっぱり人は平等には生まれてこないけど、人に上下はない、とか
いろいろなことを教えてくれる本です。
お勧めします。
