代々続いている早死にの謎、夢の中で過去の現代を行き来する力を持つ明彦、普通ではないモノが見える従兄の蓮、何とか明彦を助けようと謎を調べる明治時代の書生・栄太郎。そして瘴気を纏う着物姿の女性の影。

謎とホラーが上手く絡んだ展開でドキドキしながら読みました。

蓮と栄太郎が今後どう絡むのかも楽しみで、早くも２巻が待ち遠しいです！

直系男子は30代で早死にするという旧家の伝説が作品をミステリにしてます。

主人公明彦はその直系男子にあたり、文化系美青年、東京の大学院生で伝説解明のために旧家を訪れます。

旧家に住む従兄の蓮は綺麗系美青年。蓮も直系男子。

20代も終わりに近づき先行き短いと思いこむ二人は崖っぷちの色恋を繰り広げます。

さらに、明彦が持つ「見える」霊的能力が彼を大正時代にタイムスリップさせて、蓮の祖先の好青年系美青年栄太郎と出会い、ここでもまた謎の解明と色恋が…。大正の美青年に萌えです。

旧家という舞台がストーリーに説得力を持たせています。家に棲む霊たちと伝説の関係もミステリアスでおもしろい。続刊が楽しみです☆

やっぱり、宮本佳野さん好きだなぁ、と再確認した作品です。

何と言っても、登場人物が魅力的です。
とぼけていて、圧しに弱い面食いの明彦、明治時代のしっかり者の書生・栄太郎、
霊や妖怪が見える能力を持ち、軽薄そうだけど、どこか影のある美青年・蓮。

あらすじと、表紙の雰囲気からは暗めの印象ですが、
肩の力を抜いて、笑える部分もあります。
旧家の造りも、読んでいて興味深く、
これから、その家が物語に、どう絡んでくるかも楽しみです。

呪いの謎を解明していく、主軸の話も、後の流れをしっかり考えての構成になっていて、
恋愛部分と同等に、そちらも気になります。

これからの展開を、とても期待させる物語です。
続刊が早く読みたい！！
