あさり みちこ
青森県弘前市生まれ。翻訳家。1993年よりカナダに在住。以後、現地発行紙記者として活動するほか、政府刊行物、法律文書など幅広い翻訳に携わる。一時拠点を弘前に戻し、癒し、精神成長、健康に役立つ書の発掘とその翻訳を中心に活動していたが、2005年より再びカナダへ(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

「神との対話」のニール・ドナルド・ウォルシュに「本ではない本！！」と言わしめた本とはどんなものか…。
そんな興味もあって買ってみましたが、内容は、いままで読んだスピリチュアルな本の中で最高といえます。
「さとり」というものがあるなら、その方法を普通の人がわかる可能な限りの言語で書き表わしたもっとも実用的な本だと思います。
ちなみに、タイトルは原題「沈黙は語る」のほうがしっくりくるような気がしました。

思考や知性を重要視、依存するほど人生において様々な問題が生じます。人によって程度の差はあるでしょうが大なり小なり多くの人に当て

はまる問題だと思います私はなぜ自分が苦しくて人生をすんなりと歩めないのかがわかりませんでした。知性や思考を頼るほど人生は混乱します。

そのことがシンプルに書かれています自我があるから思考活動ができますがそれがメインになると本末転倒となります。社会に表面化する不正

などは思考の産物の代表だと思います。本書にある様に動植物は思考はなく、従って矛盾や、ストレスや葛藤などなく本来の姿を堅持しています。

我々はその姿を保持しつつ必要に応じて思考を使うべきのようです。本書にはどうやって思考をコントロールするか、具体的に方法が示されて

います。そしてそれはシンプルな方法です。人生がスムーズに行っていない方、限界を感じている、行き詰っていると感じている方には気づき

があるかもしれません。本書は大変素晴らしく多くの方に読んでもらいたい書物のひとつです。が、惜しむらくは題名です。本書、

「悟りをひらけば人生はシンプルで楽になる」、you can have it all の邦題、３冊のともどもやたら長く、抽象的で意味がわかりません。

３冊とも素晴らしい内容ですが友達に「さとり〜」などはすすめると「なに、さとりって」と胡散臭がられます。この点は近い将来に受け入れ

られやすいように改題していただいたほうがいいのかな、なんて思います。生意気を言いまして申し訳ありません。いずれにせよ本書は本質が

シンプルに書かれています。個人的には星５つでは足りません。

著者の前作などを読んで、悟りの知識がある方々にとっては目新しい「知識」はないと思います。しかし、この本はなるべく脳の活動を抑えて何度も繰り返し眺めることで、知覚ではない別物で「悟り」を体感してもらいたいというのが著者の意図だと思います。「知識」をがむしゃらに得たい方にはものたりないかもしれません。
