アイディアはまあまなのだが、展開が安易で訴えかけるメッセージが陳腐でした。文章がまだまだでちゃんと練られていないのが残念。後、扇情的で艶かしくしつこい性描写はちゃんとしたストーリーを描けないことへの言い訳のようで不満でした。
作者の略歴に『今、もっとも期待されている作家』と紹介されていたのが哀しかった。正念場に立たされていますよ！他の作品で実践しているかは分からないが、今後、性描写無しで恋愛を描くとかの縛りを設けて書いてみてはどうだろうか。

　須崎康平は、一発１０００円の殴られ屋。小学２年生の頃、母親に殴られて、脳内に白い女神像が現れ、その幻の女性に会うために、恵比寿駅西口で殴られ屋を始めた。それぞれの客は、色々な問題を抱え、銀行員の夫に暴力を振るわれて子供を虐待する母親。職を失う体罰教師。不良グループにお金をせびられる中学生。低賃金で労働搾取される元タイ式ボクシング選手。後妻の命日に息子を打ち負かしたい老人など、様々で、殴られる須崎も心身共に傷を負っていた……。
　物語は、殴られ屋の主人公と、様々に問題を抱える人々が描かれる作品で、主人公・登場人物共にしっかりと描かれ、抱えている心の問題も細かく描写しており、読みごたえのある作品となっています。結末に多少物足りなさは感じたものの、見所が多い内容です。
