神と悪魔のスケールの大きい戦いにする必要はなかった。単に悪魔の復活だけでよかったのでは？（スケールの大きい割りには計画性が無い）　グロい描写が多く（特に、悪魔的な）、この手のモノが好きな人にはお勧め。　エピローグはいらない。

人生に絶望した者が発見した不思議な壷は、人を虐げる昆虫の壁画が
描かれた遺跡の中にあった。その壷の封印が暴かれたとき、再び悪魔が
地上に解き放たれた。悪魔は自らの手で生み出した昆虫を駆使し、
蝿の王を蘇らせようとする。しかしそのとき、もう一方の側の
プログラムもまた発動し始めるのであった。

この小説は神と悪魔の対決が書かれたスケールの大きい作品であった。
人々は彼らの前にただただ翻弄されるばかりで、あまりにも無力である。
悪魔は人間にとって害悪であるが、果たして神は人にとって救いをもたらす
善であるのか。登場人物の言葉や運命を鑑みるに、これらの２大勢力に
対して人はあまりにも「いと小さきもの」であり、人の存在価値はあるの
だろうかとさえ怡?う。そこまで言えるほど、この作品には救いがない。
またこの作品にはエピローグがあるが、それは絶対読まないでほしい。
エピローグによってこの作品が台無しになっている。

田中氏の悪を描写する才能にはすごいものを感じた。どうしてここまで
純粋な悪を表現できるのか。読んでいて非常に嫌な気分になってくる表現が
あちこちにあった。読んでいくうちに気分が滅入ってしまい、読書を中断する
ことが２,３回。私はあまり悪に対する耐性がないのかもしれない。
最後に評価ですが、この本の内容、スケールは文句無く★５つであるが、
エピローグでマイナス１で★４つで登録させていただきます。

この小説でいちばん恐ろしいの虫では無い
有り得ない程の力を持った子どもの無邪気な残虐さだ
それらが悪魔と重なり恐怖を倍増させる

ドラゴンボールに出て来た魔人ブウという化け物も純粋に無邪気で残虐な性格をしていた
この小説に出てくる子ども達の憎悪はそれに近い


注意点
この作品はエログロ描写が多く
チンパンジーが少女に対してなどの過激なものがあるのでそういう耐性が無い人は読まない方がいい
もちろん虫嫌いの人も注意して欲しい
