これは、買って正解な本だと正直思いました。
ラフスケッチなどがたくさん載っているし、
『ハウルの動く城』の製作過程が十二分に分かる本に仕上がっています。
巻末には、嬉しいことに台本まで付いていますので、
いろいろな楽しみ方が出来ると思いますよ。

映画は２回見に行きました。パンフレットだけでは何か物足りなくて、本屋さんでこの本を見つけて迷わず買いました。作り手の様々な苦労、葛藤、喜びがよくわかりました。アニメーションってこんなに多くの人の手がかかっているのだなあと感心せずにはいられません。どのページも美しく、また映画を見ているような気分になれます。そして、最後についている完成台本を読むと、登場人物の細かな描写、心の中までが描かれていて、映画を見て疑問が残った所も、ああ、ここはこういうわけだったのか、と納得することができました。この本を読みながら今からDVDの発売を心待ちにしています。

結構本としては高かったんですが、思わず買ってしまいました。
でも、ページをめくるごとに背景画や美術ボードなど、どれも美しく描かれていて、全然後悔はしていません。
また、映画を観ていてわからないところがあったんですが、完成台本でキャラクターの心理描写がきちんと書かれているので、疑問も解決しました。
この本はおすすめです。
