中島らものファンで、この作品を読んでいない人を私は信用しない。読んでいてつくづく面白い。そして哀しい。

一番最初に読んだらもの本。衝撃的だった。
その後らもの本は手当たり次第読んだ。どれも面白いが、どれももう一つ。
エッセイなんかだと、どの本もよく似たような事を書いてるし、小説になるととたんにエンターテイメントになってしまう。
何かの本で、「頭の中がカユいんだ」は自分の為に書いた-それ以降は読者の為に書いてきた-と発言しているのを読んだ事がある。
なるほどそうかも知れない。
しかし「バンドオブザナイト」ほど破天荒では無い。
小説ともエッセイともつかぬスタイルだが、とにかく、らもの告白だ。
ドアーズ、ストーンズ、S、村八分、灘校、クスリ、足穂。
後のエッセイで登場してくる様々なキーワードが、もっとも鮮烈に描かれている。
原酒のもつ荒々しくも華のある香り。酩酊する。

らもさんの笑いと少しウェット（そこがいいんだけどさ）がつまった本当に良い作品なんです。
読めるときに読んでみてほしいです。

『ロカ』を読んでいたら、これを思い出して、読み返しました。
『ロカ』とこれが僕の中ではつながっていて、『ロカ』の続きをこれとリンクしながら楽しんでいます。

日本語のセンスと、らもさん独特の笑いの「間」には脱帽した。
すべての人（といってもリベラル派向けかな？）にお勧めの本。
