知財立国の宣言がなされて久しいが、世の中にそんな産業の変化もみられない。ビジネスモデル特許とか発明者の発明対価の話題だけが一人歩きしていて、本当にお金＝資産に値する特許とは、どのような要件が必要なのか、営業、事務系の方だけでなく、エンジニアも最新の法律・知識を正確に知らないのが実態であろう。
このままでは、日本の技術力の評価はともかくとして、知財立国もあやういと危惧する。本書は知財法を策定されている特許庁の執筆者の方々の正確な記述で、最新の社会状況をふまえた知財法をわかりやすくかつ本格的に書かれていて、ビジネス新書を読むより参考になる。
