朝鮮総連の内部、活動状況は「腫れ物には触れず」と言わんばかりにマスコミはこれを殆んど報じない。
本書は朝鮮総連という巨大組織の恐るべき活動を元総連幹部、韓 光煕氏が本書を通じて明るみにする。
韓 光煕氏は本当の意味で愛国者だった。しかし彼の活動は結果的に同胞を苦しめ、彼自身を苦しめる結果にしかならなかった。

朝鮮人、そして我々日本人の為にも総連の真実の姿を私達は知らなければならないのではないだろうか。
最後に身の危険もあるやも知れぬ内容の本を執筆する事に踏み切った韓 光煕氏に敬意を表すると共に、彼と御家族の安全を願います。

朝鮮総連の大幹部にして、大物工作員であった韓光煕氏。本書は、彼が語る総連と
共に歩んだ半生を、ジャーナリスト野村旗守氏が聞き書きした衝撃の証言である。
韓証言のもたらした当時の衝撃の大きさを知るには、野村氏による｢あとがきに
かえて｣から読むのもいいかも知れない。本書が公にされるまでの経緯と背景
がよく分かると思う。9.17小泉訪朝により、金正日が拉致を認めたことで、
総連を見切った関係者から多くの告発がなされるようになったが、本書の刊行
はそれ以前である。いかに勇気の必要な行為だったかが想像できる。それにして
も驚くべき内容だ。本書に描き出される韓氏の数奇な運命や、同胞のためと信
じて疾駆してきた波瀾に満ちた活動人生。その壮絶さに引き込まれてしまい、
読む手が止まらない。本書の最後に韓氏の独白がある。｢現在の総連の活動で
ただの一つでも同胞の役に立っていることがあるだろうか。いや、むしろ、やって
いるのは、同胞に害を及ぼすようなことばかりではないか｣活動家として総連に
身も心も捧げ尽くした男の苦い悔恨のうめきに、読者は何をお感じになるだろうか。

本書は、朝鮮総連の中枢を担った元幹部が総連脱退後、ご自身が
関係した数々の非合法スパイ活動を綴った衝撃の内部告発書です。
著者は、同胞のためと信じてパチンコや地上げによる錬金活動、対
韓国・対日スパイ工作､本国北朝鮮への送金を行ってきたが、大韓
航空やラングーンテロなどを通して、自らの行動を客観的に振り返
り、結果的に同胞と自分を苦しめる犯罪活動に加担していたと認識
するに至ったのだと｡自国を有利にするためならば､手段は選ばない
北朝鮮と朝鮮総連にあらためて強い怒りと恐怖を覚えました。
