山本 一力
昭和23(1948)年、高知県に生まれる。都立世田谷工業高等学校電子科卒業。旅行代理店、広告制作会社、コピーライター、航空会社関連の商社勤務などを経て、平成9(1997)年、「蒼龍」で第77回オール読物新人賞を受賞。平成14(2002)年、「あかね空」で第126回直木賞受賞(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

安心していい小説が読みたくて、手に取った小説。
期待通りでスッキリと読めました。

中盤から、いろんな事がうまくいかない、
伝えたい事が伝わらないことで、
もどかしさを感じつつ、
最後は気持ちよくまとめるのは、さすがです。

残念だったのは、
永吉、おふみがもうちょっと浮かばれてほしかった。

時代物なので読みづらいと思いきや、
とても気持ちよく頭に入ってくる文体で、
あいかわらずいい読後感が味わえます。

山本一力さんの本は初読でした＾＾
凄くいい作品だと思います。
自分の店を守り繁栄させていくという事の裏にある家族の問題であったり絆であったり・・・
他人の気持ちであったり、情であったり・・・
小説のなかの登場人物たちが本の中で強く生きている作品だと思います。
家族同士の犯罪や殺人の報道が絶えない今の次代にこの小説に出会えた事を嬉しく思います。
感動と人情が沢山つまった粋な作品でした＾＾

　豆腐屋一代記。前半は成功物語。苦労話もいい。ぐいぐい引き込まれていく。江戸時代を身近に感じる。江戸の生活は町民が支えていたわけで、武士なんてものが無用の長物になっていたことがよくわかる。
　家族愛もいい。最後にそれが分かるあたり、渋い。さすが直木賞受賞作だ。
