お茶の水女子大教授にして、かの柴門ふみの恩師であることを自ら標榜して止まないこの
土屋なる著者は、一体どんな顔をしているのか？2冊目の文庫本を読んでみて、顔が見たくて
たまらなくなりました。
さすがに2冊目となると、1冊目のような新鮮さは失われますが、しかし「2冊目はきっと
買わないな」と思っていたのに、本屋でぱらぱら読んだ瞬間買う気になってしまいました。
著者の紹介欄に「本屋の在庫を増やす名人」と書かれていますが、その片棒を担げず残念
です。3冊目はもう買わないか、それともやっぱり買ってしまうのか、自分でも予想がつき
ません。
内容は相変わらず「よくもこんなネタでエッセイが書けるな」と感心するくらい、エッセイ
になりそうにないネタを掘り下げ、読ませてくれます。

　衝撃的なデビューを週刊文春の連載で体験し、以後、「もう止めよう」「もう止めよう」と思いながら、単行本化されるとつい買ってしまいます。
　しかし、土屋先生ファンに対し、この２〜３年の作品の出来の悪さ、荒れた状態、似たり寄ったりのテーマの繰り返しは、相当失礼な話だと思うのです。

　他にも書きましたが、週刊誌で取り上げられたレストランやラーメン屋は、一時期行列は出来るものの、味は落ち、客もいなくなります。

　お金に困ってるわけでもないでしょうから、「休筆」宣言でもしてみんなが飢餓状態になるのを待ってから復活されたらいかがでしょうか？

ツチヤ先生の本は何冊か読んでます。
たしかに同じようなネタかもしれないけれど、
予想もつかない発想に思わず吹き出してしまう。
暇つぶしにはもってこい。でも電車の中で読むのは危険かも。
