時間管理のハウツー本だと思って読み始めると、やけどをする。確かに、切抜きの整理の方法だとか、コンピューターでのオンライン検索（パソコンという言葉がまだない時代のこと）など、著者流の時間管理の方法が書かれているが、それはあくまで「千葉敦子」の方法なので、直接役立てるのは難しいと思う。それでも評価が星５つなのは、この本が、「生き方なんぞは自分で工夫して自分で決めていいのだ！」ということに気づかせてくれるから。ある年齢以上の大人にはあたりまえのことだが、世の中ができあがってから生まれてきた今の若者には、これまでにない視点を与えてくれるはず。

彼女の伝えたかったことはこの一冊の中にしっかりある。

私がこの本を読んだのは十年以上まえ。見てみると、９１年に刷られたもの。
表紙も薄汚れて、ページは赤茶色に焼けている。なおさら愛しい感がある。
時間管理術の本が何冊出されようと、普遍のものがここには存在している。
テクニックじゃないんだよね。

結局は「自分が　何を　どう　していきたいか」。
そのためには時間をどう上手く使っていくか。
２４時間。人間に与えられた時間は皆平等。

情報としては古いものも確かにあります。でも、それは読み手の応用次第。

フェミに傾いている感も確かにある。でも、それも読者の取捨選択次第。
