不況のなか起こったネットバブルとはなんだったのか。それを側面からみることで浮かび上がらせています。
これは過去の検証というより、未来への警鐘として読む価値があります。

著者が『文芸春秋』の誌上に発表した、光通信についての記事が引き金になり、日本のネットバブルの炸裂の原因になって、光通信の株が99%も暴落した。その詳細なレポートを書いただけあって、「嘘で固めた虚業家」の重田康光のペテン人生については、記事として実によく書けている。携帯電話のビジネスを詐欺の種に使い、一時は5000億円の財産を築いた重田は、孫正義が唱えた「時価総額経営」の信奉者であり、ソフトバンクの社外重役でもあった。この孫や重田の後に続いたのが、ライブドアーの詐欺師のホリエモンであり、日本は拝金主義に毒されてしまい、株を使った詐欺行為が蔓延してしまった。重田やホリエモンが裏社会のカネと結びつき、香港やアメリカの金を使っていたことは、今の日本では既に多くの人が知っている。だが、若き日の孫正義が稲川会の舎弟として、ソフトバンクを立ち上げていたことについては、誰もその真相を追究しなかっただけでなく、ベンチャービジネスの成功美談で埋め尽くした。そのせいで、今の日本の裏社会と結んだ拝金主義が、日本の亡国と結びついた事実を知るためにも、著者の力作の『ヤクザ・カンパニー』(ネスコ)と共に読み比べた、そこに登場する野村證券や日本興業銀行と結んだ経済ヤクザが、いかに自民党の右派の森=小泉政権と密着しているか分かるだろう。

ネットバブルが発生した原因を 政治の政策と新技術の誕生によって 過去のバブルとまったく今回も同じと 解説してくれていたところはまったく 納得でした。米国もバブルだったとは いえその根本ではとても違いがあり、 90年代以前での蓄積が雲泥の差ということが とても印象的だった。人類は同じことを繰り返す のかと思うとまた未来にもバブルがあり、

それにうまくのためにも本書で研究するのも 面白いのではないでしょうか?
