この本に出会い、自分がいかに相手の話を聞いていのないか･･と
考えさせられました。

日々、人との会話に触れている中、私は質問したり、教えようと
したりしていましたし、今もまだそうかもしれません。
そうした事でより深い人間関係を築く妨げに自らしている事に
気付かされた一冊です。

内容はとてもわかり易く、話を聞く事の大切さや、本当の意味での
話の聞き方など「聞く事」を中心にしたものです。

子供に対しての話の聞き方等もなるほど！と思うような内容なので、
お子さんがいらっしゃる方には特にオススメです。

小包が届き、箱を開いてこの本を手にした。
帯の言葉を読んだだけで胸がいっぱいになりました。
　「魂同士の深い絆は、まず話を聞くことから始まる。
　　話の効き方の原則はひたすら共感をもって聞くことである。
　　評価しない、批判しない、同情　　しない、教えようとしない、

　　ほめようとしないという聞き方だ。こういう聞き方を身につけ　　
　　れば、相手を癒すばかりか自らの心が大きく変革してゆく。」

この聞き方の難しさ、そして深さそれをぜひみなさんにも味わっていただきたい。

自分は、まもなく定年を迎える一サラリーマンである。
今までの長い会社人生にこれといった不満、不足があったわけではないが、わけも無く、いつも、どことなく寂しさ、むなしさがあり、これからの老後をどう生きてゆくか不安であった。

しかし、この本に出会えて、人生の真の目的が、成功、名声、お金にあるのではなく、この世における修行、他者への愛を育てることにあることがよくわかった。またアクテブ・リスニングという聴き方を教えていただいた。

60歳！遅ればせながら、鈴木秀子師の教えに則って、これからの晩年を生きてゆきたい。
