「こんなテキトーな文に1600円は高いよ」とか「シュールというのも違うし、あまり面白くないのに1600円は高すぎ」という人もいるでしょうが、僕は安西水丸さんの絵が1000円分ととらえることにしました。安西画伯の線と色は単純で誰でも描けそうだけど、描けないものなんだろうな、と見るたびに思う。安西画伯の絵が好きな人は、『青の時代』『東京エレジー』『黄色チューリップ』など、かつて画伯が描いたストーリー漫画をおすすめします。現在入手できるかどうかわからないけど、とくに女性を描く線に切ない色気があって、よいです。あれは誰にも真似できないんじゃないかと思う。

著者独特のゆるゆる感はあるけれど、今回はくだらないオヤジギャグと駄洒落の域を脱していない感が強く、あまり楽しむことは出来なかった。期待はずれで、残念。
ところどころオッと思わせる政治批判や風刺はあるが、もしイラストがなく、文章だけだとするとかなりつまらない内容だと思う。本書は、村上ワールドよりも安西水丸氏の絵に助けられている。

ははは。本当にくだらなくて意味のないことを楽しそうにやってみせてくれる本です。ははは。
真剣に村上春樹を読みたい人には、まったく勧めません。
特にI章の水丸氏のカラーの絵と、文章の組み合わせが笑わせます。
なにか本当に、本当に軽い読み物が読みたい時にどうぞ。
僕は村上春樹のこういった手慰みみたいな本たちが大好きなので、思ったとおりの本でした。
