「こうすれば簡単に儲かる」「確実に成功できる」と言う類の人生指南書は沢山出ていますが斎藤氏の本書は一味違う様に思います。ご自身の浪人（組織に属さずいまでいうフリーター的な境涯）時代の心のありようから世間の批判の目にさらされての悔しい思い。そのネガティブな境涯を自分の中のミッション・パッション・ハイテンションと言うキーワードでポジティブなありように変換する具体的な方法を提示されています。氏の提案から大きな問題解決の糸口を見出す事が出来ました。長年、会社経営に携わってきた経験からも氏の語る内容に何度も100％共感することが出来、読み終わった時に今までと違った仕事観を身につける事が出来ました。特に「どんな人と一緒に仕事をしたいか」を述べられているくだりは氏のみならず私たちが日頃感じている事を鮮やかに説明されています。人生を前向きに生きたいと思っている人には最適な教えだと思います。

この本は、

落ち込んでいたり元気がなくなっている自分を「自分で」元気付けるためのノウハウ本

である。

実は私自身も他人から前向きだねとかポジティブ思考だとか立ち直りが早いとか言われているのだが、実はこの本で書いてあることをかなり無意識のうちにやっているな、ということに気が付いた。

前向きだとかポジティブ思考だとか言うのは、性格なのではない。そういう風に「自分をもっていく」技術をもっているということだけだ。

で、これがあると結構生きるのがラクになるのである。例えば、イヤなやつだな、とかツライナとか思っても強制的に「アリガトウ！」と声に出してしまうと不思議と笑みがこぼれてくる。そう、テクニックそのものはかなりマヌケであるが、これが不思議と効く。

書籍として見れば章立ての論理構成とか哲学としての濃密さは全く無い。例えば前半では「個人的欲望は長期のエネルギーにならない。社会的に価値があることを目標にしないとエネルギーが切れる」と言っておきながら、後半では「個人的恨みを心の中に蓄積して生きるエネルギーにしろ」とあるなど、トンデモナイ論理展開なのだが、それを笑い飛ばせるようなフトコロの深さもある。

いい本だと思いますよ。

自分のやりたいことがみつからない、生きがいがない、仕事がうまくいかない、というのは大なり小なり多くの人に共通の悩みだろう。
やりたいことを見つけ、成果をあげる秘訣は、実はいくつかの大きな誤解を解くことからはじまる。
その１：　エネルギーが足りないのではない。エネルギーはみなにある。歳は関係ない。
その２：　自己実現できる機会というのは与えられるべきものではない。まず頼まれたことをやってみる。
その３：　どんな偉業も多くは単純な作業の積み重ね。機械的にできる分を多くするほど、より大きなことができるようになる。
などなど。
