すごい、角田さんすごすぎる。
実際の事件を元に、フィクションで書かれた物語。
でもここまでぐぐっと読者を引き寄せて
読ませる角田さんの文章力というか想像力がすごい。
どれも事件が起こるまでの加害者（加害者家族）の
心理が描かれている。
フィクションなのに、実際にこの事件の背景には
こういうことがあったんじゃないかって思いながら
感情移入して読んでしまった。
短編になっているけど、面白くてやめられず一冊一気読み。
人間の物悲しさを感じさせられた。
新聞記事の結末から始まるので、この小説はミステリー
というより落ちていく人間の心理を描いた作品って感じ。
とにかくぐぐっと読ませられます。

　なんだかとってもイカガワシカッた。三面記事の、誰もが「ああ、あの事件…」と思い出す事件。ちょっとひそひそ声で話さなければならないような、いわくありげな事件。
　そもそものネタがそうなのだから、作風はダークである。そして、意外でないところ、多分みんなそんな風に下世話に想像しているんだろうな、というところに落ち着いていく。下品な想像、下劣な妄想を共有するような後ろめたさで読んだ。
　そして、作者得意の隠しアイテムは、橙色のイメージ。それは旅館の豆電球だったり、部屋に差し込む夕日だったり、回想の中の姉の水着だったりして、すべての短編に織り込まれている。
　「三面記事小説」は、通俗を極めた作品集なのだ。

歪んだベクトルがここにも、あそこにもある。
三面記事は日々、新聞の片隅に載り、目にする人もしなかった人も知らぬ間に
流れ去ってしまう。
印象的な事件として、ある人の心にはひっかかり、ある人には空気のように
見えないもののようだ。
角田光代さんが描いた６篇の事件の裏側は、事実と想像の狭間で
読者に軽い、あるいは重い齟齬を与える。

殺人。
「殺す」「殺される」という言葉が横行する三面記事。
一見して、「？」と感じるものが多いが、そこに人間の傾いた、なすすべのない
心理を探ってゆくこの作品は、凄まじく、底のない穴のようだ。（６作品のなかには
殺人に至らないものもある）

人は、思いのままにならない現実が極まると、結局、その現実を壊しにかかるのか。
一線をこえる、その瞬間は、誰にもわからない。
わからないからこそ、そのうしろ昏さがおそろしい。

「光の川」は、もしかしたら自分にもふりかかるかもしれない現実。
老いた親４人がこうなったらと思うと、やりきれない。
「ゆうべの花火」は、「警察沙汰にすることで、彼の人生に関わることができるか否か。」
という一点で慄然とした。
そのリアルさに息を呑みつつ、昏さをたのしんだ短篇集。
