おなじみのシリーズ。マンネリ化の声も聞かれるが、安心して読めるところが
私はいいと思う。弱いものを助けようとするいつものマコトがいる。池袋は怖い
街なのだろうか？行ったことのない私はこのシリーズを読むたびにそう思う。
でも、魅力のある街なのだろう。４編どれも面白かったが、とくに「池袋フェ
ニックス計画」が印象に残った。どうラストをまとめるのか、とても興味深かった。
作者の成長とともに、シリーズ化の作品も成長するものだと思う。
これからＩＷＧＰがどうなっていくのか？ずっと見守っていきたい。

たまたま先日池袋ウエストゲートパークを初めて読んで齢50前にしてすっかりファンになりました。
大学時代目白に住んでいて、毎日のように池袋に遊びに行っていたので何となく懐かしく感じ
本を手に取りました。
一ヶ月でこの作品まで全部読みましたが、だんだんつまらなくなって来ています。
読み手が大きな期待をしてしまう分仕方が無いのかもしれません。
前作辺りからどうしてもマンネリ化してますね連作物の宿命かもしれません。
新しい登場人物が欲しい。
初めて読んだ頃の、タカシやサルのような新しいバイプレーヤーを考えないと、新たな展開を期待するのは難しいのでしょうか？

IWGPでおなじみの作品の６作目。

若干マンネリ化のにおいはするが、期待は裏切らない。

それはきっと、毎回この小説が描いているのが「今」であって
新鮮な池袋の街の臭いが伝わってくるからかもしれない。
（とくに池袋に住んでいる人にとってはニヤリとする様な街の変化も描写されているしね）


今回は表題にあるように特に「灰色」をリンクさせるように各章を描いている。

盗撮画像で大金を手にする小学生。
５千円を奪うために、他人の一生を踏みにじった強盗半。
なんど捕まっても少年犯罪をくりかえすロリコン親父。
池袋を子供が歩けるきれいな街にしようとする副知事。

各章に登場する登場人物は全員クレイジーだけど、
全てを悪（黒）と言い切れない社会の難しさを滲み出させる。

石田衣良の軽快なストーリー展開でかるく読めるのだけれども、
割り切れない灰色な感触を残すのはこのシリーズの特徴。


「新しい法律をひとつつくるたびに、どんな形で苦しむ人間が出るか。
その証として、いつも手元において、眺めて欲しい」 by まこと

「全部が白か黒か、ゼロかイチかで割り切れたらどんなに楽だろうな」 by まこと

あんまり真面目になり過ぎるのも良くないけど、いつも灰色の部分を残しとかなきゃな、と思う。
