あらかじめ断っておくと、私は「美少年モノ」はむしろダメな人間です。したがって「長野まゆみ＝ジュネ系」という認識で、これまでは彼女の著作は敬遠してきたクチ。

ところがひょんなことからこの本を読むことになり、自分の先入観を恥じました。何とも美しいfantasyです。時間も空間も軽々と飛び越えて繰り広げられる物語。ここで描かれている人間模様、性愛、恋愛は全て夢か現か幻かが曖昧で、めくるめくような陶酔に身を任せながらページをめくってゆくうちに一気に最後まで読んでしまいます。何よりも最終章「雨宿り」の切ないことといったら…。鳥肌が立つような、読了後も数日間ふわふわとタマシイが半分物語の世界へ行っちゃったまんま帰ってこなくなるような、そんな魔力のある物語。

相当に濃厚な内容が、つつましやかな文体でオブラートにくるまれているため非常に格調高い文章として昇華されているところにも瞠目しました。すごい筆力だと思います。どこか、倉橋由美子さんの【交歓】を彷彿とさせられる作風でした。

これまでの私と同じように敬遠されていた方がいらしたとしたら、もったいないのでぜひ読んでいただきたい。傑作ですよ。

ところで私が現在悩んでいるのは、これが良かったからといって長野まゆみさんの他の作品にまで手を出すかどうか、ということです。まだ決めかねています…。

表紙とタイトルにつられて購入しました。終始不思議な感じが漂っていて一気に読み終えることが出来る作品でした。霧雨が降る静かな時間を過ごしている気になる、落ち着いた作品だと思います。人物もすんなり好感が持てましたね。ただ人物の関係や存在などが掴めずわかりづらいなと思った時もありましたが、面白いといえる作品だと思います。この人物達の別本があるそうで欲しくなりましたから。
静かで不思議な本が読みたいときにはうってつけだと思います。

　なんて妖艶な物語。最近の長野さんは、男性同士の恋愛にまっこうからとりくんでいますね！！あからさまな描写はないものの、そこらへんのBL小説よりも、よっぽど雰囲気があってエロいです…

　前世などがからまって、人物関係がかなり複雑なので、腰をすえてじっくりと読んでもらいたい小説です。人物相関図を書きながら読んだほうがいいかも。

　惜しむらくは、設定が何故だか「現代」であること。大正とか、そこへんの時代設定にしたほうがしっくりきたかな、と思うのですが。
