3.0 out of 5 stars 伏線がうまく張ってあるので、後半はひきつけられる。, 2009/1/22
他の方もおっしゃっていたように、これが直木賞？と言う感じは否めない。
文章は整っていて、伏線に引きずられるようにして後半はグングン読み進めることが出来、1冊の本としてなら十分に楽しめる内容。

登場人物は誰も個性的だが、地の文に個性がない。
そのせいで、物語が佳境を迎えるまでの間、読むのに集中力が必要なのが残念。
優等生の書く作文のように整っているが、
「これが三浦しをん！」と言うものはあまり感じられなかったかも。

難しい漢字はないし、字は大きいし、一話が50ページ程なので、移動時間に読むには最適な本だと思います。読んでいて全く疲れませんでした。
しかし、驚くほど全く何も残らない内容です。事件解決の部分でワクワクさせられるでもなし、人間の闇の部分で共感させられるわけでもない。多田と行天のキャラクターも本の世界では掃いて捨てるほどいるタイプです。
ラストにかけての展開も、無理矢理多田に暗い過去を作った感じがしてなんだかな〜と思いました。うわっつらをなでて書いたような本で、期待はずれでした。

駅前で便利屋を営む多田とそこに転がり込んできた行天の
１年間を描いた作品。
飄々とした行天のおかげで、いろんな厄介ごとに巻き込まれる多田だけど
それが悪くない結果を生んでるから不思議です。
マンガのように個性の強いキャラクター設定と
ゆる〜い感じのストーリー展開がなかなか楽しい。
そのうちドラマで見てみたい感じがします。
