　まず冒頭で笑いました。本編もけっこうすらすら読めますし。私はクーンツやキングの作品はちょっとずつしか読めないのですが、この本はすらすら読めました。

　内容も普通人の考え方で共感がもてるし、こういう作家こそ考え方をかえると良い作家なのかなあと思いました。

主人公スタンリーが、危ない橋を渡りながら謎を解いていくこのシリーズ、最初から最後まで次々と話が展開していって飽きません。謎自体たいして複雑でもないのですけれど、ユーモアたっぷりの文章とスタンリーが気に入ったら、続きも読みたくなってしまいます。

まず、冒頭1ページで引き込まれました。親しみやすい文章、思わず“ぷっ”っと吹き出ししたくなるユーモア。この先のおかしな展開を期待せずにはいられない冒頭です。
とにかく読みやすいです。早い人なら1日あれば読破できる。このシリーズはまだまだ続くので、ネガティブ思考の超気弱探偵スタンリー・ヘイスティングズが活躍?する「探偵になりたい」をきっかけにミステリー小説にハマるのもいいかも!
