スピルバーグによって映画化されたジョーズの原作本。
映画とはいろいろ違うところがあった。
例えば、フーパーが死んだり、クイントの死に方も違いました。
フーパーとエレンの微妙な関係もかかれてました。
映画とは違う楽しみでした。

あまりにも有名なスピルバーグ監督の映画の原作。原作自体もベストセラーになったのだが、あの映画のインパクトには負けるでしょう。
ベストセラーを映画化するとたいてい原作に負けるのだが、これは映画が原作を上回った稀有な例でしょう。
まあ原作には映画にはない人間関係の機微などが描かれており、映画とは別物として楽しむことはできる。
