殺された事務員の家から見つかった、名前のリスト・・・

当初は何の意味もないと思われたが、リストと同じ名前を持ったアマチュア作家が現れて、
その人物と関わり合いを持った人たちが次々と殺される・・・

「ミッシングリンク」というか
「リンクがわかっているのに何でそのリンクで人が死ぬのかが分からない」
という謎を扱った作品。

ウルフの相変わらずの女嫌い振りが分かるんです

最近、どの本屋さんに行ってもレックス・スタウトのものは手に入らなくなってたし、手元にあるのはもう何度も何度も読んじゃってたし、っていう状態だったところにこの本が登場！久々にネロ・ウルフが外食してます。

料理長が多すぎるやネロ・ウルフ対FBIに比べると確かにトリックや話の筋はあまり面白いとは言えない!しかし、ウルフとアーチーの掛け合い漫才は健在。それだけで充分満足できるはず
