陳先生の美しさの前に、ひれ伏してしまいます。！強くてキレイ！！コレです。ほんと。陳先生の、教えを請う者の入門書ともいえましょう。ただし、動きはなかなか書籍だとちと限界も・・・第二段階としてはＤＶＤも出てるのでそちらもあわせてオススメです！！！

NHKを見ていて「凄い女性がいる！」と感激し、2回ほど見てから購入しました。番組だと動きが速過ぎて分からない所も、テキストではコマ送りの写真でバッチリ理解！注意点など、解説もとても分かりやすくて、やる気が出ます。準備体操のおさらいも出来ます♪

陳静さんのお手本は、目が点になるほどスゴすぎますが、ビギナー用に簡単にしたポーズも掲載されており、ジャンプしたり180度に蹴り上げたり出来なくても格好良く動けるように工夫されています。巻末付録のポスター（白黒）も、左右が逆にプリントしてあり気が利いています。

それにしてもお美しいです。うっとりと眺めているだけで楽しい本。拳法の種類によって変わる服装や、素敵なまとめ髪もゆっくり見て真似したかったのですが、この本があればばっちりです。陳さんの少女の頃の写真やティータイムの奥様姿の写真もGOOD!!
（ミーハーはさておき…）肩、足首、股関節のストレッチが、とてもよさそうなので、続けてやってみたいと思います。しなやかな体になれるでしょうか！？

＜放送が終わっての感想＞長拳→南拳→少林拳→鷹爪拳→?、と動きが繋がりました。絶対無理…見るだけにしよう…と思っていたのですが、これ、意外と出来ます!!（最後の跳躍はさておき…）少しずつ丁寧に進行してゆくので、何とかなりました。体がサッと温まるので、冷え性の方にはすごくいいかも！！＾＾　そして、ストレッチを続けた肩と足首ですが、恐ろしいほど柔らかくなりました!!
回転や跳躍があったり、拳によってテンポが違ったりするので、テキストだけで覚えるのは無理そう…。(DVDが出そう!?)「陳静の華麗なるカンフー」のコーナーだけでも"衝撃的映像"として持っておきたい気がします。2ヶ月間、本当に楽しかったです!!

型の解説つき連続写真に加え、陳静先生のエッセイ（アドバイス）、そしてこういう分解写真を見ていても左右が逆になってしまう人（私のことです…）のために、左右反転させた型の連続写真ポスターが付録でついているあたり、ＮＨＫらしい親切設計になっています。

表紙をはじめ、口絵（巻頭）にページいっぱいに綺麗な写真があって、まるで女性誌グラビアのようなデザイン。
単なる“教科書”ではなく“本”として持っていたいと思う仕上がりになっています。

陳静先生の美しさに全てがあるのかもしれませんが…。（邪だなぁ……）
