1945年東京都生まれ。学校法人服部学園服部栄養専門学校理事長・校長。昭和大学医学博士学位修得。医学博士。(社)全国調理師養成施設協会会長、東日本料理学校協会会長他、多くの肩書きを持つ。「食育」「健康と食」をテーマにした講演を精力的にこなす一方、『料理の鉄人』『SMAP×SMAP』他テレビ・ラジオ番組の出演や企画・監修も行う(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)
