画家、美術評論家。1938年東京都生まれ。絵画は独学。70年代より絵画制作と並行して美術批評活動を開始。88年に伊豆高原に転居、自然をモチーフにした絵画制作を精力的に行っている。2000年に『ウラパン・オコサ』で日本絵本賞を受賞(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)
