5.0 out of 5 stars 子供の時に旧暦を知っておけばよかった, 2004/12/21
天気予報で「平年より暖かい日が続いて・・・」などと聞きますが、旧暦を知ればそのなぞがわかります。旧暦では毎年元旦が変動し、また１９年に７回、閏月が入りますので、例えば桜の見頃も違うのです。そんな見方をすれば、日本の四季の移り変わりをもっと興味深く味わうことができるでしょう。また、歴史上の出来事も私達は新暦で解釈していますが、そもそも旧暦での記録であるため、旧暦で読み直す必要があります。中学・高校の時に古典や歴史を勉強しましたが、その前に旧暦を学ぶ必要があるとも思いました。

一読して誤りの多さに唖然としてしまった本です。
「旧暦は日本の季節に良くあった暦、一見不順な天候の年も旧暦で考えればその理由がわかると」ありがちな間違った知識をまき散らしています。
敢えて「悪書」と言って良い本だと思います。

著者が得々として語るご自分の当たった天候予測の箇所だけでも良く読めば矛盾したしたことを言っているのが判ります。
盛んに旧暦、旧暦とおっしゃる筆者ですが、本当に旧暦のことを理解しているのかははなはだ疑問。
旧暦の効用を説く前に筆者自身が、もっと暦の勉強をするべきだと思う本でした。
なんだかため息が出ますね・・・。

暦は趣味の一つなので、暦と名の付く本を見るとつい購入してしまいます。この本もそうして購入した本の一冊ですが、「大失敗」でした。
一読して、誤りの多さに驚きました。筆者は旧暦の暦法を全く理解していないのでは無いかと思える程で、「なんとなく旧暦ってすてき」と言った軽薄な旧暦ファンに迎合しただけの本という感想でした。
筆者が「気象の変動の謎は旧暦を知ればわかる」と、自分の予想の正しさを挙げている箇所にも矛盾が多く、旧暦に興味を持った方々に誤解をまき散らすだけの本。敢えて「悪書」と書かせて頂きます。

もちろん購入はお勧めしません。不幸にしてこの本を買ってしまった方にはこの本の内容を鵜呑みにせず、他の暦の良書も読んで、この本の誤りに気がついて頂きたいと思います。
