４５歳の３児を持つ父親です。今を生きる子供達を取り巻く状況を実に明快にこの本は説明しています。学校の先生だけでなく、全国のお父さん、お母さんに読んでもらいたい本です。読後は、自分の子供を身近に感じ、愛おしくなりました。

タイトルの『ひきこもる』とか『小さな哲学者』とかに、誤解しないでほしい本です。ひきこもっていなくても、哲学者じゃなくても、すぐれた哲学を持っているいい本です。
『豊かさ』という言葉を正しく理解できれば、今抱えている問題も、糸口が他にもたくさんあるということに、気がつかせてもらいました。
すでに、学校にもひきこもりにも縁のない生活をしてますが、長年、？？？と漠然としていた考えが、しっかり言葉として形になった思いがします。哲学をしているすべての人にオススメです。

　戦後の急激な、貨幣流通経済中心社会のなかで、次世代を育てるというアンペイドワークが評価を失っています。母親業はゼロ円で、いつも批判の対象であり、あまり誰もやりたくない仕事となりました。日々の家事や育児は、社会の中でお金になる仕事を持てない人のすること、とさえ思われています。生まない、育てない、ことは無難な生き方です。自治体では子育てさえしたことのない講師を有料で呼び、無報酬の現役の母親を教育しようとします。

　税金をそんなつまらないことに使う人をよそ目に私は小柳先生の「本当のことを書いた本」を６６０円で買います。この方以外にこの国の少子化を語れる人はいないでしょう。なぜ、この国の女性は子どもを生まないのか。知りたい方はぜひ読まれるとよろしいかと思います。

　人は、人に育てられることで人となろうとし、人を育てることで人になれます。この事実以外は、時代や環境によってみんな変化するのですね。
　お母さん、私の可愛い子どもたち、いつもありがとう。この場をお借りして
感謝します。
