芳川先生のNHKラジオの半年の接続法の講座はできる限り録音をして繰り返し聴いていました。１つにまとめたこのような教材を待っていましたのでこの教材はとてもうれしいです。いつまでもカタコトの子供みたいなスペイン語だけ使って満足な人には必要ないと思いますが多くの人は接続法を学べばそれがどれだけ自然で的確な表現ができるかとか、いろんな可能性を秘めているかわかると思います。例文がぴんと来ないときは例文の趣旨になぞって自分で理解しやすい動詞や文章に入れ替えてやるとわかりやすかったりします。私はより自然な会話ができるようにこの教材で進歩したいです。

スペイン語の入門レベルを終えた程度の学習者には、接続法はなかなかピンとこないものです。でも接続法の理解は会話だけでなく、読書のためにも不可欠です。この本では接続法に関してとても丁寧で工夫の凝らされた解説がなされていて、入門レベルから次に進むのに大いに役立つと思います。目的のはっきりした画期的な良書だと思います。

「入門を終えたら」と題名に書かれているように、初級から中級に行こうとするスペイン語学習者の難関である接続法を集中的に覚えることを目的としている。
接続法で面倒なのは、一つは動詞の活用を覚えないといけないことだが、これはある意味で、これまで動詞の活用を覚えてきた経験が活かせる。問題は、使い方で、接続法の持つイメージをしっかり把握し、かつ、間違いなく使える(書いたり、話したりできる)ようになるが必要である。
このためには、接続法が使われるシチュエーションを丁寧に取り上げると同時にしっかり練習することが必要である。
本書は、前者についてきちんと分類して適切で分かりやすい説明をしており、本書が対象としているであろう読者の要求に応えている。後者については、付属のCDが、動詞の活用の練習も含めて役に立つ。
ただ、練習についてはここにあるだけではやはり不足する感もあり、もう少しインテンシブなものが欲しいと思うかもしれない。もちろん、ページ数やCDの録音時間の制約があるのはしょうがないことで、本書だけですべてできると思うのは間違っている。
最後の「接続法の歌」はご愛嬌だが、著者が読者に対して接続法を覚えてほしいという気持ちがよく現れている。
