出版年月こそやや古めですが、寄せ、囲い崩しの手筋が
居飛車、振り飛車に分けて、わかりやすく解説されています。
入門書読み終えたばかりの初心者の方でも無理なく
読めると思います。

これは駒の動き、そして序盤の駒組は覚えたがそこから良くわからない…(自分もこれを読むまではそのタイプでした)方に是非読んでもらいたいです。これ一冊マスターするのに遅い人、時間の少ない人でも1ヶ月はかからないとおもいます。他の定跡書を読んでて…相手がこうきたらどう対処するんだろ…とか何度も悩んだことがあるとおもいますがこれ一冊マスターするだけでも他の定跡書に取っ付きやすくなるとおもいます。自分がおもうには…まずこういう手筋の本(解説付きの)→詰め将棋(解説付きの簡単な本からでよい)→定跡書+実戦という展開で読んでいくと上達が早いのではないかとおもいます。(自分は上手くも無いのに難しい定跡書にイライラしてました(;_;)が読む順序を変えただけで飲み込みが早くなった気がします)

この作品は、実戦で多く指される代表的な囲いの崩し方を説明したもので、 有段者ならば知識として、あるいは経験上当然知っているべき内容を扱っています。
この作品(の基となるNHKの講座)が出るまで、天守閣美濃(玉が8七にいる型の左美濃)の崩し方を説明している棋書はほとんどなく、私自身天守閣美濃の攻略を苦手にしていました。が、この本を読んだのちは天守閣美濃に組まれることをまったく苦にしなくなりました。
囲いの崩し方をきちんと身に付けることにより、確実に中・終盤戦の棋力が向上し、勝率もアップすることでしょう。
初心者から有段者まで、広くお勧めできる棋書だと思います。
