　まあ、似たような展開の作品もあるし、確かにありきたりだという意見もあるけれど、悪くはないと思う。ただ、全体的に盛り上がりに欠ける作品であるとは思う。引き込まれるというような部分が少ない。だから、読了してもさほど心に残る場面が思い浮かばなかったりする。本当に平均的な作品である。

　あとはキャラクターかな？変に生真面目すぎて、あまり主人公に魅力を感じないところか。まあ、事情はどうあれ、一応は修道僧なのだから、というのもあるが…。好みはエカラートとワートワーズだけど、それ以外では黒猫妖精のゼッテくらいかなあ？あくまでも猫が大好きな私としては、だが。

　キーワードとしては、やはり「兄弟」だろう。とある事情(ネタバレになるので伏せておく)ですれ違うことになっていく「兄弟間の確執」。精霊の森と題名にはあるものの、確かに精霊は重要な存在ではあるが、あまり森は関係ないと思った。

賞を取った作品、という事で結構期待して読みました。
結果はかなりがっかりです。
人間同士の事件と精霊達の事件を組み合わせた話だが、どっちの事件もありきたい。
キャラの設定も特筆するものがない。
あまりにも使い古されて、最近見なくなったタイプの典型的良いコな主人公には全く感情移入できませんでした。
よくある設定によくある事件、想像通りの結末。
ちょっと読破するのが大変だったです。

ここのレビューを見て買ったクチですが、私個人としては☆３つ以下というような酷い作品ではないと思いました。大賞をとったとはいえまだ新人さんだということですし、文章もきちんと書かれている、破綻もなし、と、最低☆４つ、好みの話なら５つという感じです。
