レノン,ジョン
1940年、イギリスのリヴァプール生まれ。60年、バンド名をビートルズとし、活躍を始める。66年にオノ・ヨーコとロンドンで出会い、69年に結婚。この頃から、二人は音楽を通じて「ピース・アンド・ラヴ」の活動に力を注ぐ。70年にビートルズが事実上解散。71年、アルバム『イマジン』を発表。75年、息子ショーン誕生。ジョン、「主夫宣言」をし、五年間の私的な暮しを楽しむ。この頃、一家でたびたび来日。80年、音楽活動を再開。11月に遺作となったアルバム『ダブル・ファンタジー』を発表。ジョン、12月8日に自宅前で凶弾に倒れる

33年、東京生まれ。十九歳で合衆国に移住。66年にジョン・レノンと出会い、69年に結婚。75年、息子ショーン誕生

何といっても篠山紀信さん撮影のカバー写真がなつかしーい。
インタビューは当時出ていた「ALL THAT JOHN LENNON」の再録のようですが、ファンになり立てのあの頃を思い出して一気に読み切ってしまいました。この頃のジョンってなんてピュアなんだろうか。と考え直してしまいました。必携です！

　ジョンレノンのファンでもなんでもない人である私にとってはイマイチな本である。
　結局ジョンレノンバンザイみたいな「雰囲気」があり、ファンではない人にはなんだコリャと思わせることもあるかも・・・きっと大部分がインタビューの和訳であるのでそう感じさせるのかも・・・

　それでもやっぱり池澤夏樹ファンである方には薦めます。だって彼(池澤氏)を通してまた新しい人(レノン氏)の生き方を知るというのもまたよしみたいなところあるしね。
