~この本は、準動詞を攻略すれば英文法を征服することにつながるとの認識のもと、書かれた本です。
学生時代以来、すっかり忘れていたこととかあって、懐かしさ半分に読んでいたのですが、読めば読むほど疑問が。
ネイティブの人は結局どういう表現を使うのか？そういうところが気になってしまい読むペースが落ちました。
~~ しかもP83の例文の訳し方が絶対おかしい。
そう思って中央公論のホームページをみたら、やっぱり正誤表出てました。
そのうえ、同じ著者が出した「超」英語力（初版）についても同じ場所に正誤表が出ていて、その間違いの数の多いことと言ったらない。
仮にも学習書として出すものにこれだけ間違いがあったらどうしようもない。

外国の方としゃべっていて、「動名詞を使いこなせるようになったら、もっと表現の幅が広がるのでは」と思い、この本を買い求めた。
この本のテーマに興味ある人には、お薦めです。
ただ、個人的にはもっと現実に則した例文をふんだんに読みたかったので、良い本だとは思いますが、星は４つにしました。
