5.0 out of 5 stars 忘却の彼方に押しやられたファシストたちの歴史, 2004/5/3
ファシストというとヒトラー、ムッソリーニの二人が突出して有名で、あとはフランコがたまに出てくるくらいだと思う。しかしあの時代、何もドイツとイタリアだけが特殊だったわけではない。一大潮流となったファシズムは、政権こそ取れなかったものの、コミュニズム同様、世界中に広がり、多くの支持を得ていた。イギリスやアメリカでさえファシストは大きな勢力を築いていた。歴史の波に埋もれてしまったこれら各国のファシストたちと、それぞれの国におけるファシズム運動について知ることができる。あまり注目されない存在に光を当てた貴重な労作。

　かつて、多くの国ではファシストである事を求めた時代があった。
　この本は、そんな不安定な時代に登場した世界各国のファシストたちにつ
いて簡単な解説を加えた本である。

　この本では列伝として、満州に逃れたロシア・ファシストやスロバキア、
ルーマニア、オーストリア、又南米、イベリア半島、そして英米諸国と幅広
く扱っておりも、多彩で、単にファシストというよりもさまざまな特徴とそ
の国々の事情についても筆が及んでいる。

　これらの中で、スロバキアやクロアチア、フランスなどなかなか日本語で
読めないものが少なくなく、この値段だと割安感が強い。又列伝という形式
にすることで、気軽に興味のある国のファシストを読むことかできるという
点も面白い部分である。
　ただ、使用している写真等は他の本からの転載等でよくない写真が多いの
が残念である。

１９２０〜３０年代は、第１次世界大戦からの立ち直り、世界恐慌のため、世界中で、非効率的な議会制民主主義、三権分立ではなく、権力の集中による効率性が求められました。それがニューディール政策であり、一党独裁の共産主義であり、排他的なファシズムでした。日本も戦時体制ではありましたが、大政翼賛会という一党独裁的な政治体制ができました。

たしかに、イタリアのファシスト党、ドイツのナチス党の影響は大きかったものの、この２国が特殊だったわけではなく、多くの国でファシズムが注目されていました。そして、その国の事情で種々のファシズムが誕生し、左翼的なファシズムもあれば、カトリックと親密なファシズムもありました。

このような、さまざまなファシズムのあり方、無名のファシストを紹介しています。

驚いたのは、アメリカの英雄、大西洋横断飛行のリンドバーグもファシズムのシンパだったということです
