　川上弘美さんが好きで、エッセイ以外はほとんど読んでいます。
　本作もちょうどGW前に発売となったので、早速読了。
　感想としては「川上さん、だんだん即物的になってるかなあ」というところです。
　先日「文学界」での連載が終了した「真鶴」もそうですが、初期の頃から最近までの短編にあった「うそばなし」的要素はほとんどなく、「センセイ」や「溺レる」、「ニシノ」あたりにある、ヴェールがかかったようなエロティシズムも後退して、ごく日常的な「不倫」とか「離婚」とかのモチーフが、連作短編としてここに存在しているような感じです。
　まあ、悪くはないですよ、もともと非凡な筆力と表現力がある作家さんですし。楽しめます。
　ただ、このままで行くと、川上さんが川上さんであるためのレゾン・デートルみたいなものが、段々希薄になっていくような気がして仕方がないです。
　悪く言えばこの作品や「真鶴」は、ただの平凡なおばちゃん文学になっちゃっている。
　この傾向は、長いのになると顕著みたいな印象があります。
　昔からうすうす思っていたのですが、川上さんは、あまり長いのが得意じゃないんじゃないでしょうか、失礼ながら。
　あの、川上さん的な、手製手榴弾のような（中には家庭用花火の火薬が一杯入っている）短編集がまた読みたいな、と思ってしまいました。

テレビドラマ化・・・意識して書かれてますか？
いかにも、安易に二匹目のドジョウを狙う人間が、安いテレビドラマにしそうな筋立て。
川上弘美さんの作品に一貫して感じる、「聖性」のようなものが好きだったので、すこし残念でした。。

いま読み終わったところなのですが、小説冒頭の夜の公園のシーンを再び読み返してしまいました。川上さんの関心は、物語世界から現実世界へと移ってきているようですが、変質はしていないな、と思います。しっかりとした川上さんの視点が感じられます。しっかり登場人物が浮遊してます（笑）。「夜の公園」っていうイメージは凄い！あたかもそれが人の生きる世界の縮図のような。。。確かに、以前の小説にあった、のほほんとした感じが好きだった人には向かないかもしれません。複数の登場人物の恋愛が話の中心になるのですが、
「不倫」と決めつけて読むと、とたんにつまらなくなります。「不倫」という言葉ってなんなんですかね。やれやれ。
