4.0 out of 5 stars 「主婦である自分」を大切にしようと思えた一冊。, 2003/6/13
休みなく続く日々の雑事。ふとした瞬間に「私、このままでいいのだろうか？」と思う主婦はとても多いことだろう。そして『自分探し』に奔走する主婦もまた多いことだろう。私もその例外には漏れず・・・。

しかし、この本を最後まで読んで「主婦である自分」を初めて大切にしようと思った。主婦である誰しもがあらゆるその雑事の中で知らず知らずのうちに、自分に出来ること、自分を生かせるものと出会っているのだ。その力を生かすも見過ごすも自分次第。自分を認められなくて誰が認めてくれるというのか。主婦暦１５年の著者が、主婦の素晴らしさを教えてくれる。開眼させてくれる。「職業は？」と聞かれて、ついつい「すみません。ただの主婦です。」と答えてしまう方にオススメの一冊。

フェミニズムの考え方は、大切なものだと思うけれど、
フェミニストの多くの方がお持ちの、女性はすべて働くべき、というような考え方には賛成できない。
主婦をしている毎日には、なんだか落ち着きのないものを感じるけれど、
主婦業は嫌いではないし、大切なことだと思う。

そういうもやもやとした気持ちが、
とてもすっきりと、また深く掘り下げて書いてある石川さんの文章を読ませていただく中で、
なんとなく、整理されてきたような気がします。

主婦としての日常に、なんだか迷いが出てきたり、自信を失ってきたり、闇雲に自分探しを始めそうになったり、また、社会に新しい一歩を踏み出そうと決意したとき等に、
オススメの一冊。

専門的な内容も多く書かれていたけれど、読後感はすごく爽やかでした。

世間様?が、ひとくくりにイメージしがちな、主婦と言う存在にスポットを当てた一冊。この本は、真っ当な主婦なら、知らず知らずに身に付けたであろう人間力が、今後の自分の身を助ける力になる!という事を教えてくれます。愛情と言う名のもとに家族の為に労を厭わず、家族も含めた人付合いの妙を知る、賢い主婦友達は、社会人時代も大変真面目で、コミュニケーション能力の高い人だったと言う事実に気が付きました
