　香瑩が初めて単独で請け負った依頼のエピソード(花園学校)ですが，新宿で過ごした4年間の内面的な成長ぶりが強く感じられます。作中，グラスハートだった頃の香瑩を見知った登場人物が敵として出てきても，終始シティハンターとして振る舞うところは特に。
　22巻では，わずか1巻の間に大立ち回り(単身殴り込み制圧，爆破×2，ナイフ・肉弾格闘戦，狙撃)を立て続けに演じ，「香の心を持ったグラスハート」が圧倒的な勝利。明るい女の子の香瑩と，クールなグラスハートの表情が頻繁にスイッチし，とても痛快な巻になっています。
　後半で追いつめられかけますが，冴羽父娘の方が何枚も上手・・・すっきりする1冊です。

麻薬調査のため潜入捜査の香宝
そこで新しい友人達と出会うが殺し屋カメレオンに誘拐されちゃう

22巻は香瑩が軸となって、香がかつて新宿に創設した
花園学園で起きた覚せい剤に関連した自殺事件を
解決していきます。新たに謎の人物カメレオンも登場し、
事件解決の行方だけでなくカメレオンとの係わり合いも
気になる展開となっています。相変わらずリョウのもっこりは
人を判断するときの重要な判断材料となっていて、
シティーハンターの時と多少重複しますが、エンジェル・
ハートは結構深刻で現実的に見せる設定が多いのにも関わらず
安心して読むことが出来ます。おそらく、それは死んでしまった
香の人間性はもちろん香瑩とを取り巻く人々が本当の仲間として
描かれていることが大きく関係しているのだと思います。
1巻を読み始めたときは重くて戸惑いましたが、そういった部分が
この巻ではよい意味で消化されていて読みやすいです。
