　私は高校を卒業したばかりですが、たしかに身近にも先生と恋愛関係にある生徒がいました。そして、そのことが発覚して、「生徒は平等に扱う」と断言していたその教師に裏切られた気分になるとともに、周囲の生徒がその子に気を使いすぎてギクシャクした関係になったことをよく覚えています。そして普通の関係をたもつことが難しくなっていき、周りの生徒たちに気を使わせるような教師を許せないと思えるようになりました。学校の風紀が乱れ、けっして許せないと私はいきりたっていました。
　
　宮さんの著書も最初は反感をもちながら読みすすめましたが、教師にも人知れず悩みがあったのだと思えるようになりました。しかも一方的に教師の恋愛を肯定する立場で書かれていないことや、生徒の自己決定権の尊重にも踏みこんでいて、現場の事情をわかってくれているなあと思えてきました。この問題には性質上、「客観的」にふれるということはできませんが、すこし距離をとって冷静に当時のことを考えるきっかけをあたえてくれました。

「先生と生徒の恋愛」というタイトルを見て、ちょっとエッチな恋愛物かなと想
像するむきも多かろうが、本書は、学校現場ではタブーとされてきた「先生と生徒の
恋愛」に踏み込んだ労作である。著者は、恋愛の当事者を全国から探しあて取材を
しているが、そこでの真摯なやり取りがバランスよく配置されていることが、何とい
ってもすばらしい。それも、これまで扱われることもなく、タブーとされた先生と生
徒の恋愛、そして、恋愛と切り離せない性愛にまで掘り下げている点もすばらしい。
このような労作は、けっして野次馬的なアプローチからは生まれるものではなく、著
者が深く、当事者の内面の声に耳を傾けたことによるものに違いなかろう。ときに男
と女の問題にも言及しながら、この問題のもつ際限のない深さと幅（道徳論やわいせ
つ論ではけっして語りきれない部分）を提示している。教員の誰もが、生徒の誰もが
遭遇するであろうこの問題の在り処を偏向することなく提示した本書を手に、それぞ
れに議論を深めてみたい。

　高校生の先生と生徒が恋をしたら、先生は解雇されなくてはならないのか。
法律問題も交えて、真剣に先生と生徒の恋を考えた本です。
　「高校教師」というテレビドラマもありました。身近な所でも、先生と生徒の
恋を聞くこともあります。
　先生は生徒の事を好きにならないといろいろな事を教えることは出来ない
と思います。しかし、一人の生徒を好きになってしまうと、他の生徒に対して
公平に教える事は出来ないそうです。
　生徒も先生を好きになってしまうと、他の生徒に優しくしている先生を許す
事は出来なくなってしまいます。
　では、どうしたらいいのか、是非、本を読んでみてください。
