年齢不詳、美貌の蓮丈那智民俗学教授の推理が楽しめる第２弾。短編集なので
第１弾を未読でも大丈夫です。ワトソン役のミクニくんも相変わらずで
講師への道はなかなか遠そうです。
那智の魅力や民俗学にはまったら、やっぱり第１弾も、そして「狐罠」「狐闇」へと骨董の世界にも足を向け、「孔雀狂想曲」へと北森ワールドは
広がって楽しめると思います。

今回、まだ名前が出ない（「狐目の」と言われてる）かつて民俗学のホープだった男が気になります。
これは必ず第３弾、そしてまたいつか那智と狐の競演するのではないかと楽しみです。

｢本格民俗学ミステリ｣の名にふさわしく
大黒様、海幸彦/山幸彦、御蔭講…
よく知っているようでいて、実態は何も知らない
そんな事物の出自や真の意味を実に歯切れよく解明していく。
それは、正しく目の前が開けるかのよう。
今まで、こんなに面白いことを知らなかったなんて
なんて損をしていたんだろう！！なんて後悔仕切り。

これを読んで、｢民俗学｣や｢文化人類学｣を志す人も
多いのでは？

実際の事件部分との関係が、
前作よりもスムーズになっていて、より上質になった。
