民俗学の面白いテーマにも触れながらミステリーとしても楽しめる。
そんな馬鹿な！と思って読み始めたが、５編とも違った味わいを持ち、ストーリーも登場人物も練りに練れらていて、面白い。
蓮杖那智の持っている美しく妖しい雰囲気と、異端からずっばと切り込む真剣の刃の切れ味が気持ちいい。
自信を持って端にいることの重要さをなんとなく感じた。

　民俗学とミステリーが融合した新感覚の連作集。殺人事件の謎と民俗学的な謎が複合して一気に読ませる短編です。とりわけ注目は破天荒な民俗学者那智と彼女に翻弄される気の毒な助手のミクニ。この二人の関係がおもしろい！これだけでも読む価値ありです。ほとんど「女王さまと下僕」。玲瓏な美貌と怜悧な頭脳でズバズバ謎を解いてゆく女王様とその命令には逆らえない下僕状態のミクニのやりとりが愉快。民俗学通にもミステリー好きにも見逃せないシリーズです。

民俗学の美貌の助教授とその助手が探偵役の連作ミステリー。
事件の舞台も民俗学が絡んだもので、今まで読んだことの無いような不思議な趣きがあります。
ひとつひとつのミステリーは、どれをとってもはずれが無いほど面白く、
特に、密室を扱ったものは「こんな手があったのか!?」と驚かされました。

今までとはひと味違ったミステリーが読みたいという方に、ぜひ読んで欲しい１冊です。
