筆致や、その文から政宗公の人物像に迫る、という本かと。
印判などについては特に触れられていないので、古文書の勉強向けではないと思いますが、政宗公好きとしてはかなり楽しい一冊です。

義姫宛ての書状は、小説などのメディアがやはり創作物である、という事を考えさせる上でも十分な資料だと思います。

今まで私が持っていた政宗公のイメージが少し変わりました。
戦国時代のしかも殿ですから、かなり遠い人の話として今まで捉えていたものですが、
この書を読んで、血の通った普通の人間の温かさを感じられ、読んでよかったと思いました。
直筆の書の画像と読み下し文、訳文と載せられていて、
筆者の解説の後に、最初はとっつきやすい訳文から。
これを読んだ後に読み下し文を少し声に出しながら読むと、
まるで目の前に公が座して、文面を考えつつ筆を取っているような錯覚を覚えました。
そしてその後に対応する直筆の書を拝見…。
もちろん何が書いてあるのかはさっぱりですが、公がこの書を書いた時の感情の動きをその筆致で見ることができます。
非情に良書だと思います。

読んでいます｡政宗公は､達筆ですね｡
家族､家来達にあてた手紙､政の手紙など､様々です｡
13年前､仙台に行きました｡
仙台はいい所です｡
伊達政宗の騎馬像や、松島の景色、瑞鳳伝（政宗公の霊廟）など。
色々観光しました。
