相変わらず、快調に面白いエッセイです。
掲載誌のせいか、全性別・年齢対応かも…しれません。
日常の小ネタ、ふとした思い付きなどなど、「あるある！」と共感できれば
たまらなく可笑しいものばかり。
しかし、独特の鋭い感性だからこそ書ける文章なのでしょう。

個人的にはワールドカップネタがとても楽しかったです。

あの頃、テレビにかぶりついていた皆さん。
今読んで、あの頃の自分を振り返ってみてはいかがでしょう？

日常のなかで、思いついたことや疑問に思ったこと。
それを溜め込んでいる人、ぜひ読んで、思いっきり共感してみてください。
共感できなくとも、とにかく笑えることは確かだと思います。

エッセイを普段読まなくとも、これは一読の価値がありますよ！

　こんなにも妄想をくり広げて日常生活に支障が出ないのだろうか？ と心配になるほどの激烈な妄想っぷりに笑いのツボが刺激されまくり。　
　時には○○娘。の非常識な喋り方に憤り、時には世界の俳優やスポーツ選手の胸毛に思いを馳せている。そんな日常（？）の刺激を集めた作品。　
　
　私の中では、前回読んだ「夢のような幸福」よりも爆笑度が高かった。某男性作家のエッセイ以来、電車の中で吹き出してしまうという恥ずかしい思いをさせていただいた。「週刊新潮」に連載していたということで、オジサマたちも読んでいたのだろうが、オジサマたちの反応が気になってしまう。“世の中の女性たち皆「ボーイズラヴ」に興味を持ち、ベッカム同様シーマンやカーンを見てキャーキャー言っているのだな。フムフム”などと思ってしまってはいないだろうか…心配です。

面白かった。

「しをんのしおり」には若干のオタク臭が漂っていて、ちょっと
引き気味に読んだけれど、これには全くなかった。
大物のエッセイにありがちな、自慢がかったセレブな話題に
イライラさせられることも無く、心穏やかに楽しく読めた。

原田宗典的だけれど、こちらの方が文章がしっかりしてて良い。
